Your rooftop panels generate solar electricity, which is converted into usable power and used to run your daily operations first. The grid only steps in when your operations need more than the system produces that day.
Under a Power Purchase Agreement, ETHOZ owns, installs, and maintains the solar PV system on your roof. You don't buy the equipment — you simply pay ETHOZ for the solar electricity it generates, typically at a lower rate than the grid.

What agreement will I sign with ETHOZ?
You will sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with us based on agreed price over a defined contractual period.
Do I need to fork out any upfront capital for the PV (Photovoltaic) installation?
There will be no capital required and all the processes (installation, operating and licensing cost) are borne by ETHOZ!
How many years do we have to commit once we signed the PPA?
The PPA is from 5 years, one of the shortest contract in the market!
Who owns the rooftop solar system?
ETHOZ owns, operates and maintains the rooftop solar system and sells the solar power to you via the PPA. The rooftop solar system belongs to you after the contractual period ends.
Who will be responsible for operating and maintaining the rooftop solar system?
ETHOZ will be responsible for operating and maintaining the system. The services include cleaning, checking and troubleshooting.
Do I need to make any modifications to my roof?
It is unlikely for most cases. Our solar professionals will conduct an assessment for you.
How do I coordinate the amount of power I need from the grid after installing rooftop solar?
The switchover to grid is seamless and does not require manual intervention. When the solar energy generated is inadequate to supply your demand load, power will be drawn from the grid to supplement it.
Will installing solar panels affect the value of my commercial property?
Installing solar panels on commercial buildings in Malaysia can increase property value by lowering electricity bills and improving energy efficiency. These systems are non-invasive, can be removed or transferred without damaging the building, and are viewed as sustainable upgrades that appeal to future tenants and buyers.
