Mobile Elevating Work Platform
MEWP, an acronym for Mobile Elevating Work Platform, is an equipment powered by either electrical or diesel engine designed to elevate people to work at height.
You will usually find MEWP in construction sites, commercial and industrial buildings, used by companies for a wide range of applications which require height access such as maintenance works, painting, engineering and construction, facility repairs, events sites, etc.

Scissor Lift

Scissor lift is an equipment with wheels with a working platform secured on top of its scissor arms. The scissor lift has the ability to elevate its platform vertically to height by unfolding the scissor arms using the combination of electric and hydraulic power.

Boom Lift

Boom Lift is an equipment powered by either Diesel or Electric engine that elevates a worker in a small bucket work platform.
Boom lift has the highest reach in MEWP class and is significantly bigger in size than scissor lift. Unlike scissor lift that only allow the platform to move in vertical movements, boom lift can be raised horizontal and vertically.
The two common types of boom lifts are the articulating boom lift and telescopic boom lift.
Articulating boom lift is a mobile elevating work platforms with multiple joints and boom sections allowing the operator to reach work areas over obstacles at height.
Telescopic boom lift sometimes also referred to as straight boom lifts, extends its platform out in a straight line with one or more boom sections. The telescopic boom lift offers more horizontal reach and heights than the articulating boom lift.
